Unit Descriptor This unit is relevant to those people who may be undertaking preliminary training to enter the community services industry.

1 . Develop knowledge of the community services industry
  1. Work reflects knowledge of the current issues which impact on the work area/organisation and different models of work

  2. In collecting information about the work role and the organisation's role, the views of key stakeholders and representatives from relevant target groups are sought and used in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
